Whistleblowing – Reporting misconduct
Bergen Havn uses MittVarsel.no as its whistleblowing portal – a secure, anonymous or identified solution for reporting misconduct, both internally and externally.
Who can report
Everyone has the right to report misconduct they are aware of.

How the portal works
Case handling and follow-up
Feedback: Updates and decisions are provided through the portal, regardless of whether you report anonymously.
Confidentiality and data protection
All information is encrypted, and only authorised case handlers have access. GDPR is complied with, and tracing of an anonymous whistleblower is not possible.
Legal protection against retaliation
Whistleblowers have full legal protection in accordance with Chapter 2 A of the Norwegian Working Environment Act. Any form of retaliation is prohibited, and compensation may be claimed in the event of a breach.
Approval and use
By using the MittVarsel portal, you consent to Bergen Havn administering and processing the report in accordance with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
