Portvakten på DokkenThe Port of Bergen incurs significant costs related to the operation, maintenance, and upgrading of roads and other infrastructure within the port area. Passage fees were therefore introduced in January 2023 to help cover part of these expenses.
Generally, the passage fee will be invoiced to the individual vehicle owner. However, vehicles may also be linked to company agreements, enabling companies operating in or with regular traffic to the port area to receive consolidated invoices covering all cars included in the agreement.
The pricing model will be adjusted from 1 February, with a 10% reduction in rates:
Vehicle type – Price (excl. VAT)
The discount previously granted to vehicles with permanent ISPS access permits will be discontinued. The rule that a maximum of five entries per day will be charged remains in effect. No fee will be charged for exiting the port area.
Detailed information on how the solution will operate in practice, and how users should relate to it, will be provided in January. Necessary signage will be installed at the entrances before the new solution comes into effect.
All inquiries regarding complaints and disputes related to invoices and passages will be handled by Vestpark.
