First veteran ship in place

Veteranskipene Vestgar og Granvin utenfor Mathallen ved Blomstertorget

Today "Bergen Nasjonale Veteranskipshavn" (BNV) opened in Vågen, Bergen. The Port of Bergen has entered a trial arrangement with BNV until October first, where they can utilize "Blomstertorget" for placing veteran ships.

For de som vandret rundt i Bergen sentrum i går og tok tok turen til Blomstertorget utenfor Mathallen, la kanskje merke til at veteranskipene Vestgar og Granvin ved kai.

Her skal veteranskipene ligge i første omgang frem til første oktober. Målet er fartøyene skal vises frem for publikum, og gjerne hente inn midler gjennom turer på sjøen.

- Vi har inngått en prøveordning med BNV hvor de får disponere Blomstertorget i sin helhet, forteller markedssjef Nils Møllerup i Bergen Havn. Etter prøveperioen skal vi evaluere plasseringen, før vi evt.vurderer en ny avtale.

Change in Routine for Collection of Passage Fees

1 February 2026, we will make changes to our routines for the collection of passage fees for facilities at Dokken and Skolten. To ensure a better process for collection and payment, Vestpark will perform this service on our behalf. This means that from 1 February 2026, Vestpark will handle the registration of passages and the issuing of invoices.

Båtmann Stasjonen become a part of the Port of Bergen

The mooring company Båtmann Stasjonen and Bergen Port Authority have entered into an agreement under which Båtmann Stasjonen’s operations will continue as an integrated part of Bergen Port Authority’s service offering. The agreement entails the winding up of the company Båtmann Stasjonen, with Bergen Port Authority taking over both employees and operations as of January 1st
